USA Hockey Registration

All NAHA players must register with USA Hockey for the current season on their website (www.usahockey.com/membership).

The only exception is if you are only registering for one session (6 practices) within the Learn to Skate program. If you are registering for a subsequent session, players must register with USA Hockey for the current season.

Full Equipment List

Equipment is not provided. Contact the Hockey Office at mkubaliak@tphacademy.com if you would like to rent equipment or contact the pro shop at 256-880-7860 if you would like to purchase equipment.

You will need:

  • Hockey skates (not figure skates)
  • Shin guards
  • Hockey pants
  • Hockey socks
  • Elbow pads
  • Helmet
  • Neck Guard
  • Gloves
  • Stick

Youth Council Helmet Policy

“All ice hockey coaches and instructors of registered USA Hockey youth/high school, disabled, girls’/women’s 19 & under and below programs must properly wear an approved ice hockey helmet during all on-ice sessions, including practices, controlled scrimmages and coach and referee clinics.” This policy is being upheld by NAHA.
